(DF) Moody's Raises Bulgaria's Credit Rating to Baa1, Outlook Stable; PM Borissov Sees It as International Recognition of Government's Fiscal Policy

October 10 (BTA) - Commenting Moody's decision to raise Bulgaria's credit rating to BAA1 with a stable outlook, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov commented on Facebook Saturday that in the past two months this is the second international agency of high repute that gives a positive assessment to this country "and at a time when the economies of all countries across the world are suffering from to the coronavirus pandemic". The Prime Minister also said this is yet another international recognition of the government's fiscal policy "and an obligation to finish our work and keep the same course". On October 9 Moody's Investors Service upgraded the Government of Bulgaria's senior unsecured and long-term issuer ratings in foreign and local currency to Baa1 from Baa2 and changed the outlook to stable from positive, the Bulgarian Finance Ministry said. 11 أكتوبر 2020, 08:00
